To preserve quality and longevity of the oil pastel drawing:
Handle with care
Avoid touching the surface and preferably do not remove from the frame, since oil pastels never fully dry and fingerprints may be left visible or smudging/scratching might occur.
Avoid sunlight & heat
Sunlight may cause damage to and fading of the oil pastel pigments, so shield oil pastel drawings from direct sunlight and keep away from any heat source to prevent the oil pastel to melt.
Climate control
Keep away from humidity and damp environments, since paper will absorb moisture and causes the paper to wrinkle, warp or deform and catch mold. Ideally, maintain moisture levels between 40-50% and keep a stable temperature to maintain paper quality and the integrity of the oil pastel pigments and consistency.
