How do we store your data?

Studio Gestalta securely stores your data in a web-based database offered by hosting provider Bluehost, part of Newfold Digital, inc. (hereinafter “Bluehost”), host of our WordPress Content Management System (CMS).  This online database requires authorization and 2-factor authentication. Bluehost provides server space and infrastructure for hosting www.studiogestalta.com, stores website files and provides technical support to ensure optimized performance and online availability. Additionally, it protects this website by an encrypted HTTPS connection, automatic backups, and malware scanning. Bluehost processes personal data for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by Studio Gestalta, persuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, necessary for management, maintenance, and security of the website.

For how long do we store your data?

Your personal data shall be processed and stored for no longer than necessary for the purposes for which the personal data is collected, in accordance with Art. 5(1)(e) GDPR. Personal data may be stored for longer or processed for other purposes than that for which the personal data has been collected where based on your consent or on a law to which Studio Gestalta is subject. Such a law may restrict the scope of obligations and your rights when it is a necessary and proportionate measure to safeguard national and public security amongst other purposes, stated in Art. 23(1). GDPR.

When you complete a survey, provide feedback, request for contact, submit or form, or make any other inquiries or requests via our website forms, phone, or by written correspondence, or when an order is completed or cancelled, your personal data, additional information provided by you, and metadata is retained indefinitely. Pending and failed/abandoned orders will be retained for 30 days. Once this time period has expired, they will be deleted automatically. In case of newsletter subscriptions, your data will be deleted no later than 30 days from the day on which you unsubscribe.

Payments

On behalf of Studio Gestalta, your purchases in the webshop of www.studiogestalta.com are processed by our payment provider Mollie B.V. (hereinafter “Mollie”). Mollie processes personal data on the legal basis of processing necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are party in order to take steps at the request of you prior to entering into a contract, persuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Invoices generated by Mollie will be retained for a period of 5 years. If you need to retain them beyond this timeframe, you will need to store them privately. The following personal data is processed by Mollie to process your payment:

  • Payment details (e.g. debit- or creditcard number).
  • IP address.
  • Your internet browser and device type.
  • Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number, address, postal code, city, country).
  • Additional information explicitly provided by you (e.g. via written correspondence or by phone when you contact their customer support).
  • Information about the purchased product or service from www.studiogestalta.com.

Depending on the payment method used and additional information provided by you, not all aforementioned data will be processed by Mollie. Studio Gestalta does not collect nor process any such data, we only have acces to Mollie’s dashboard to gain insight into the type, status and date of payments, to retrieve a statistical overview, to refund payments, to monitor payment method performance, chargebacks and fraud, and for riskmanagement and accounting purposes.

Analytics

Studio Gestalta uses Google Analytics 4 (hereinafter “Google Analytics”), an analytics measurement service provided by Google Ireland Ltd, that collects event-based data from our website: www.studiogestalta.com. To measure and report statistics about user interactions on the website of Studio Gestalta, Google Analytics collects the following data:

  • First-party cookies
  • Device and browser related data
  • IP addresses (in Google Analytics 4, IP addresses are used at collection time to determine location information, but discarded before data is logged or stored in a data center or server)
  • On-site activities

Studio Gestalta has enabled Google signals data collection for demographics and interest reporting to gain deeper insight about users on www.studiogestalta.com. This setting is enabled for regions in the EEA and Switzerland. Data collected under Google signals is not used or shared for any purpose other than to provide the Google Analytics service for exploration, reporting, and audience building, since Studio Gestalta has disabled all options for Google Analytics to share data with other Google Services and has not linked Google Analytics to a Google Ads account.

Google signals are session data from sites that Google associates with users who have signed in to their Google accounts, and who have turned on Ads personalization. Any such data may be accessed and deleted by you as a user via https://myactivity.google.com/. By activating Google Signals, Google Analytics now collects data about these users on our website in addition to aforementioned standard data collection through Google Analytics implementation via: 

  • Third-party Google advertising cookies
  • Device identifiers

Google has developed an Opt-Out Browser Add-on, so you can prevent Google Analytics to use your data. Click here for the tool. Event data is retained for 2 months and user data for 14 months. When the retention period expires, data is deleted automatically on a monthly basis. Retention is reset on new activity.

Google Analytics processes personal data on the legal basis of your given consent to the processing of your personal data for one or more specific purposes according to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Mailing

On behalf of Studio Gestalta, emails, including transactional emails, via www.studiogestalta.com are sent via the SMTP relay service and API integration of MailerSend, Inc. (hereinafter “MailerSend”) to reach your inbox from authenticated domain names. This service optimizes speed and deliverability of emails, and provides a secure sending infrastructure. Additionally, it provides Studio Gestalta with reports for statistical use (read-only) so we can analyze deliverability, bounce rates, complained spam, and unauthorized use. MailerSend processes personal data on the legal basis of processing necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by Studio Gestalta (Art. 6(f) GDPR) to prevent fraud and ensure network and information security (Recitals (47), (49) GDPR). The following personal data is processed by MailerSend to process the emails:

  • Personal identification information (email address, phone number)
  • IP address, location data, device information
  • Additional information explicitly provided by you (e.g. via written correspondence or by phone when you contact their customer support)

Transactional emails are automated messages triggered by user actions within a website. These emails are individually sent notifications that provide functional information, only relevant to you. Examples include: order confirmations and billing notices.
